Trill League

Stories written and illustrated by Anthony Piper

Notes

Trill League Episode 1 is an indie comic that has huge potential in the collector’s market.

Created by artist and illustrator Anthony Piper, Trill League is a parody of DC’S Justice League in the vein of Adult Swim’s Boondocks.

What started as a cool sketch of a young Black “Hip Hop” version of DC’s Robin soon blossomed into an ongoing Instagram webcomic, and finally two successful kickstarters publishing Episodes 1 and 2 of the Trill League graphic novel.

Soon after publishing Episode 1, Anthony pitched the Trill League IP to several animation studios.  The idea was finally picked up by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and Television company.  It’s currently in development at BET+.

Collector’s Note: Episode 1 has only been published via Kick Starter with a possible additional print run following the initial fulfillment.  Which makes this book extremely rare. In fact, I’ve yet to see a single copy show up on Ebay at all!  Additionally, there’s no CGC record of any kind on any collector’s website (CLZ, CVR Price, Go Collect, MyComicShop.com, etc).

If and when Trill League makes it to television this rare book may skyrocket in value.
