Reparations picks up where DayBlack Vol.2 left off and delves into the untold story of Larrieux, a very powerful and deadly vampire and the mother of our enigmatic protagonist, Merce. Set against the backdrop of Lousiana in the late 1800’s, we witness Larrieux’s life as an exceptional young enslaved girl. This story unveils the challenges and sacrifices she endures before her transformation into the world’s most notorious vampire.

DayBlack: Reparations is a southern gothic, blending historical realism with elements of supernatural lore, as we join Larrieux on her extraordinary journey filled with moments of heartache, resilience, and discovery.
